Save Packsaddle Community Fields

Packsaddle Community Fields have been enjoyed by the people of Frome for over 40 years. The fields are full of wildlife and have been used by the local community for walking, birdwatching, picnicking, dog walking and wellbeing. These beautiful fields with ancient trees and hedgerows are at risk of being sold to developers.

Somerset County Council have agreed to sell this beautiful green space for a financially motivated, large housing development. The decision was made behind closed doors without proper public consultation. BUT the sale will only go through if planning is approved. Please help us to come together as a community and stop this.

The money raised is paying for our (substantial) legal fees to oppose the planning application and also to help with our campaign to raise awareness through public meetings, posters and flyers.
