Save Pappi: Help Donna's Beloved Dog Heal

Only a few days ago, a beloved pet, Pappi, was brutally attacked by two much larger dogs. Pappi was taken outside on a leash. Neither of the other dogs were leashed.

Pappi’s owner, Donna, is an elderly woman experiencing homelessness. Donna loves her dog dearly and is never seen without him by her side. Pappi’s small size and large personality have brought countless smiles to Donna’s community, including her peers at the shelter where she resides.

Pappi has now been attacked by another animal twice in a matter of a few months. The most recent attack put Pappi in critical condition. Pappi was rushed to Lewiston, ME, where his open wounds were sutured, and his eye was repaired. Pappi’s jaw remains broken in three places; he needs surgery to repair his jaw. Pappi has made it this far; the two have suffered immensely together. Now, funding Pappi’s life-saving treatment is what stands in the way of their healing.
