Save Pets from SC Heat: Fund AC Repair

In September of 2023, I invested all of my savings into making my first big purchase of my own home, a quaint little house nestled in a small town in South Carolina. Since then, life has been hitting me like a truck, causing my inability to put any funds back into my savings each month.

Recently, my AC, which was claimed to be “brand new from 2022”- later confirmed by several HVAC technicians that it was not, went down. If you live, or have lived, in the southern US during mid-summer, you know the struggle with this heat. Since life keeps happening, I don’t have the funds to get the necessary repairs or a temporary solution. I don’t mind if it is just me living uncomfortably through the southern heat, but it isn’t just me.

I have two dogs, Izzy (6 years old) and Maddie (4 years old) both chihuahua mixes, and a cat, Gracie (6ish months old). My pets are my absolute world and they make life a lot less lonely. I’m really worried about them being in this constant heat and afraid of the ill effects it could have. I don’t have anywhere that I can take them while I figure things out. My house is reaching as high as 96 degrees inside every day.

I don’t like having to ask for help, as I like to make do however I can myself, but I don’t want to see my pets suffer and could really, really use some help right now. Any donation, no matter how small, would be so incredibly appreciated. Even just sharing helps more than you may know❤️
