Save Popham Beach

A good portion of the last few years I have lived with my young son in a house within walking distance of Popham Beach. Many of you have probably seen the videos I have made of his pure enjoyment and curiosity from experiencing what it means to grow up on the coast of Maine.

Many of you have probably also heard about the man who claims to have bought a large portion of Popham Beach. Beach often seen in my videos. Beach which could become no longer accessible to me or anyone else.

The Hills have been fighting this man for nearly two years and have spent nearly $100,000 in legal fees so far. It’s not just to protect their families and their homes (along with the three other families) directly affected in that portion of Popham, but also for everyone else at Popham Beach.

If they lose this lawsuit, then there is nothing stopping another person or company from buying more or THE REST OF POPHAM BEACH and blocking access or extorting everyone. Popham could very quickly become a very different looking beach and none of us want to see this happen!
