Save Puppies and Dogs from Slaughter
Donation protected
My name is Ashley Davis and I'm a fashion journalist based in New York City covering the world of fine jewelry, but more importantly, I'm a dog mom to Sandwich, my jindo/husky mix rescued from a dog slaughterhouse in Korea, where it is legal to raise dogs for slaughter.
I adopted my dog directly from two young women in South Korea, Annie Hammy and Ivy Yoon , who independently rescue dogs from slaughterhouses and meat farms and send them to organizations like my local NYC animal shelter, Animal Haven , for adoption.
I am now raising money to help about 50 slaughterhouse rescue puppies and dogs get to the United States.
Here is a video of some of them:

In late January 2020, through Annie and Ivy I became aware of a horrific farm in Anseong, Korea where dogs were being fed part of other slaughtered dogs. Annie and Ivy described the Anseong dogs as having the best temperament of any meat farm/slaughterhouse dogs they've rescued before.
Several rescues, including my fantastic 501(c)(3) partner Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas, have committed to accepting dogs and facilitating their adoptions. However, these organizations cannot fund the entire costs the dogs incur.
The money I am raising will get the dogs from Korea to the United States, paying for the dogs vet bills ($500 to $3,000 per dog depending on health and any necessary treatments), boarding bills (around $200 month per dog) and flight fees ($200 for each dog, except for our 6 large Bloodhound/Great Dane mixes which will cost $5,000 each to travel as cargo).
As Annie and Ivy pay for the dogs' discharge from vets and boarding facilities we will post the receipts here! We are also posting updates about the dogs as much as possible on Instagram.
Please help us support these animals by giving them their first and only chance at life outside of a cage and free from the threat of a brutal death by slaughter.
THANK YOU so much for your interest and support.
