Save ‘Rambo Ram’ from the abattoir

So I let the owner of Rambo graze his ram lambs in my field as they were doing me a favour eating stuff the horses don’t and to help fatten them up! I knew why they were there BUT I got really attached to to one of them. He doesn’t try to butt me like the other boys and he’s just so loving. I can’t bear the thought of him ‘going’ - I know I can’t save them all but Rambo is so trusting in humans it breaks my heart to think he’ll be betrayed by them. The farmer wants £250 which is the meat price for him. I just can’t afford it as I’ll probably have to have him castrated too. He is bonded to my ponies so he won’t be too stressed being on his own. He is at risk as he’s going to be too old for ‘lamb’ very soon.
