Save Roadkill the cat: A Calico's Second Chance
Donation protected
On Christmas Eve, I found a calico kitten on the back dirt roads of Indiana. She was sick and needed shelter; otherwise, she would die. I've been caretaking for her since.
Today, I got unfortunate news about her health. She is not actually a kitten; she is a 6 to 7-month-old cat but she weighs 3 lbs. She has an upper respiratory virus, ear mites, and possible stomach parasites. All that can be treated, but she could have a coronavirus that is stunting her growth and shortening her lifespan.
We hope she recovers over the next two weeks. If not, we'll test for the coronavirus.
Her name is Rhody O'Dell Roadkill. She has a sense of humor about her circumstances. She's the sweetest cat with the tiniest meow. She is spoiled rotten and always demands pets.
I've contacted a foster. I'm concerned the respiratory virus will spread to my other cats. Any funding I get will pay off the medical costs I incurred and the rest will go to her fosters for continued treatment.
I want this little girl to recover. Treatment, medications, and testing are expensive. Any help you can provide is appreciated ❤️
