Save Rocket: Urgent Heart Surgery Needed

As featured on the local news:
No one expects to hear that their beloved pet may be dying, but that is what my Aunt Liz learned earlier this week. Rocket, her five-month-old puppy and best friend, has been diagnosed with a life-threatening heart condition known as Pulmonic Stenosis. This condition occurs when the pulmonary valve is too narrow and restricts blood flow to the lungs, placing great stress on the heart.
The treatment for this condition is balloon valvuloplasty, a procedure that involves opening the heart’s pulmonic valve to allow blood to be pumped from the heart to the lungs more efficiently. Since Rocket’s condition was detected early, his prognosis is very good if he undergoes the balloon valvuloplasty within the next few weeks. However, without this procedure, Rocket will not survive long.
The cost of this balloon valvuloplasty procedure is $6,600.00, not including the cost of additional hospital fees, pre- and post-surgery exams, or travel expenses from her home in South Dakota to Colorado where the hospital is. Though she’s drawing on all of her available resources, it won’t be enough to save him in time. Please give this special puppy another chance at life by donating to his balloon valvuloplasty.
