Dear Friends of Roosevelt,
The Heart of the Lakes non-profit, alongside several community members have taken a stand. We're seeking your support to cover legal fees and other expenses necessary to save Roosevelt from demolition. By repurposing and renovating this historic site, we ensure a future for Roosevelt that resonates for generations to come.
We've taken our first step by filing an injunction, and securing a temporary restraining order on the demolition process. However, to escalate our efforts and take the battle to court, we need to raise approximately $20,000 to challenge the WDSD's decision.
We've exhausted all other avenues, but the WBSD continues to move forward without due process. Now, it's up to us to ensure that justice prevails.
