After a whirlwind 12 days of campaigning we raised the required number of signatures for an Elector Poll which has now been called by the Clarence City Council, and brought by the lack of consultation with the Clarence Community and because the Clarence City Council dismissed the 6 motions that were passed at the Public Meeting, another successful petition lodged by the community of Clarence.

Now: Our Community must vote to save Rosny Parks

Clarence residents are now urged to vote in the upcoming Elector's Poll to save Rosny Parks, keep public land for the community and stop the parks being destroyed for an AFL High Performance Centre in the upcoming Elector’s Poll. Save Rosny Parks Groups believes the parks must be saved for the community and future generations.

Public land is also publicly owned and should not be given to the AFL, a multi-million corporation.

Charles Hand Memorial Park is next to Rosny College and contains a popular skate park plus 188 mature trees, while the Rosny Park is the former golf course it has significant trees and is a wonderful parkland, full of wild life, a pond and ducks!

 

Once destroyed, the parks are gone forever.
