Save Saman Fight Spinal Muscular Atrophy

I, Sanjib Manandhar, and my wife Meena Suwal live in Kathmandu, Nepal. We got married on 25th January, 2015 but were unable to conceive a child for the next 5 years. After many visits to gynecologists and different doctors we almost gave up hope. We decided not to continue our endeavors if our last IUI treatment wasn't a success. But fortune smiled upon us and my wife finally got pregnant. After 38 weeks, Saman Manandhar was born on 22nd November, 2020. He brought lots of love and joy in our lives. He was born healthy but soon after 4 months we found out that he could not hold his head and move his legs like other children. We visited different doctors but no one was able to recognize his problems. During his 6 month visit to the pediatrician, neuro physician Dr. Bina Prajapati Manandhar; Saman was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). He was admitted to the International Friendship Children Hospital on 18th May, 2021 and has been on a ventilator, fighting for his life, since the past 40 days. He needs further treatment so that he can survive.

So I would like to request anyone reading this message to help us in any manner possible. We will forever be grateful.
