My furbaby needs urgent surgery. I am here as a last resort to try and raise enough funds to give Sammy her forever home. This has not been easy to do.

Samantha is a 7yr adorable Blue Domestic Medium Hair fluffball. To put it mildly, she is shy and only recently trusted me enough to cuddle on my lap or sleep in the big bed.

I adopted her from Animal Welfare League in Kemps Creek eighteen months ago. It was love at first sight - for me anyway! Her previous humans had surrendered her to the shelter after she fell from five floors. She suffered trauma from the impact but had no broken bones. Sam was put into foster care for recovery until I rescued her six months later.

Sadly Samantha has again slowly lost the ability to walk correctly, jump or even get her little back legs over the litter tray. She has been dragging her back legs behind her and accidentally wetting the bed. She hangs her fluffy head and looks so sad. It's beyond heartbreaking.

The AMAZING Vet's On Crown team treated her twice in the last two weeks. We have her on anti-inflammatory and pain medication, and she doesn't seem in pain. Those sneaky cats hide it well, though.

Samantha has been diagnosed with a herniated disc in her lower back. To fully assess her injuries, she needs X-rays and numerous tests that cost the earth, and then we see specialist surgeons; their estimate is between $3000 to $6000. The forecast from Vets On Crown is $1756.36.

The good news is she is expected to make a full recovery and live a long, happy life with her Mumma.

She needs this surgery so desperately to get back on her feet. I cannot imagine losing another furbaby or life without her. Any donations will be so greatly appreciated.
