Save the Musleh Family from Genocide!

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alyson Wick and I'm from Cincinnati, OH. I am fundraising for the Musleh family who are currently trapped within Gaza!

The family includes:
  • Mohammed, Father (65)
  • Sawsan, Mother (52)
  • Sara, Sister (16)
  • Tasneem, Sister (21)
  • Maryam, Sister (22)
  • Ahmed, Maryam's Husband (35)

Sara, 16 tells you her family's story:

"We are a small family and we used to live in our house quietly and happily.

My parents were always proud of any achievement we did. They really worked hard to build our house. It wasn't easy. They did all they can to build our comfortable and lovely home. They did every thing step by step, but we lost our house in a second and my parents hard work and exhaustion turned into rubble."

I was a high school student. This year was supposed to be the year before the last one. I was getting the highest marks and I always tried to develop my skills and learn more and motivate myself. But sadly I lost my school, education and future.

My older sister Maryam had her graduation party the last Thursday we were happy, before October's attacks began on us. She is married, but unfortunately she didn't have children because of medical condition with her husband. They planned to receive treatment and undergo an invitro fertilization procedure. But now there isn't a good medical services for even the most urgent conditions! Her dream of having children is impossible in Gaza.

My sister Tasneem was a computer engineering student. She was always telling me about her plans and how she will create a successful future for herself and our family. She was a determined girl, but now her studying stopped and her college become a place for displaced people to live.

My family and I need your help to compensate for even a small part of the loss of our home and to search for a happy future for us, away from death and destruction!"

Sara shared with me that she wants to resume her education and go into learning medicine, so that she can help others!

She really enjoyed studying, so much so that when the war began she brought her laptop with her to her first displacement so she could continue trying to educate herself, but it became damaged. Sara believes that every little thing you learn strengthens you brain and personality.

Right before October, she gave a presentation on the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical Systems at her high school and passed her English language course with 100% accuracy and high marks all around.

In the 7th level of school, she met her best friend Nagham, a year older than her. Unfortunately, Nagham was killed in Rafah on January 7th. Sara considered Nagham her soul mate in life.

She loves to read and wants to live in a peaceful, quiet place where she can focus to continue her studies and enjoy books.

We all know the border is currently closed, so our primary focus at this time is ensuring the family has what they need to survive daily, for food, water, medication and other needs. Any additional funds will be saved for evacuation purposes, such as passports and fees.

Money collected through the GoFundMe campaign is sent directly to Ahmed's bank account. If he were to perish due to the ongoing genocide, the money would be directed to another adult in succession. If the whole family were to perish, the remaining money would be distributed to other Palestinian families in need.
