According to Shakespeare's Globe, “We are a model for the non-subsidized arts sector that is well-run, well-managed and financially resilient, but in the face of a crisis such as this one, there is no mechanism to help us. This has been financially devastating and could even be terminal... In this unprecedented time for the cultural sector, and as a charity that receives no regular government subsidy, we need donations to help us continue to thrive in the future.”

Shakespeare's Globe is not just a special place for patrons, and artists, but, it's also a beloved historical theatre that is cherished by so many visitors around the world. For me personally, Shakespeare's Globe will always be a fond memory of my time studying in London. For an actor such as myself, I have always dreamed of seeing shows there, and now, I dream of being on that stage one day. The productions they perform are breathtaking, as they strive to not only make Shakespeare innovative and relatable to everyone, but they also strive to create a special experience you will never forget. It would be heart breaking if this theatre had to close their doors, becoming another loss in the world due to COVID-19. Shakespeare's Globe is world-renowned performing arts venue, cultural attraction and education centre located on the bank of the River Thames in London, UK. They strive to celebrate Shakespeare's transformative impact on the world by conducting a radical theatrical experiment.
