Save Sharks and Protect the Oceans

Elton Cheung is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Oceana.

I'm raising funds for Oceana to protect the sharks because I love them and because they are so important to the oceans. They are important because:

Sharks remove the sick and wounded, which is needed to keep the oceans healthy.
Sharks have high cancer resistance and could be studied to make medicine.
Sharks help control the fish population - if sharks go extinct, fish will overpopulate and run out of food. Then, the fishing economy will crash.

There are many other reasons to protect sharks. Sharks are also heavily over-fished. My goal is to stop this and ensure that sharks are well-protected. Any funds will be donated to Oceana. If you want to visit their website, Click here.
