Save Soliana Tekle Mesfin: Urgent Surgery Needed
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Kind Strangers, and Supporters,
I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support in saving the life of Soliana Tekle Mesfin, a 24 -years-old young woman from Eritrea who is in urgent need of neurosurgical treatment abroad.
Soliana has been battling hydrocephalus, a life-threatening condition where fluid builds up in the brain, causing dangerous pressure. She previously underwent shunt placement surgery to drain the excess fluid, but unfortunately, her condition has worsened, and her shunt is now failing. Without immediate medical intervention, her life is at serious risk.
Recently, doctors at Orotta Medical-Surgical National Referral Hospital in Eritrea diagnosed her with a supratentorial brain mass with hydrocephalus, suspected to be papillary craniopharyngioma—a tumor that can cause severe neurological complications. Due to the complexity of her case, local treatment is not available, and her only hope is to travel abroad for urgent surgery.
Soliana comes from a poor family who cannot afford the cost of medical treatment, travel, and hospital expenses. Without financial help, she will not be able to get the care she desperately needs.
We are humbly asking for your generous support to help fund her emergency surgery and travel expenses. Every dollar counts and will go directly toward saving Soliana’s life.
Please donate, share, and spread the word to give this young woman a chance to live.
