Save some Turkeys

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Northern Ireland Battery Hen Rescue to be able to rescue turkeys from being slaughtered for Christmas, and every donation will help.

This is urgent as slaughter of these magnificent soulful birds is starting next week.

We hope to save 10-15 birds and then rehome them to pet homes after Christmas is over. If we can save more we will. Any that are not adopted will stay at the rescue.

The inhumane slaughter of these birds is horrendous with live birds standing in line watching and listening to their stable mates being murdered. I witnessed a slaughter 2 years ago so I could put my hand on my heart and truthfully describe the who horrendous experience. I ended up leaving the farm in tears and throwing up down the road.

If we exceed our target and there’s no more turkeys to rescue, the remaining funds will be used by the rescue for the ongoing support of the animals in their care
