Save South Kingstown High School and our Property Taxes!

Hi, we are a group of Concerned Citizens of South Kingstown. We want to inform the community about the upcoming school bond referendum.

Please be aware that South Kingstown is having a special bond referendum on May 7th. This bond is for $150 Million dollars for a new high school and athletic facility. If approved, property taxes will see a significant increase.

The high school should be renovated, not torn down. Unfortunately, we are not being provided an opportunity to vote on repairs. Instead, this bond would bulldoze SKHS and build a new high school on Hazard Field.

Enrollment is down, interest rates are up, construction and material costs are at an all time high... this bond is a bad idea.

We hope that we can count on you to VOTE to REJECT this bond. Contributions to this account will be used for signs, mailers and other materials needed to get the word out about this bond.
