Help Save Stella: Battling IMHA at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center in Middletown

I never do this but our girl needs help and we promised her we would try to do everything we can.

Stella is our 3 year old German Shepard and she is in the fight of her life. Recently she was diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia), a severe autoimmune condition where their immune system mistakenly attacks their own red blood cells. It’s a heartbreaking diagnosis, and the treatments are extensive and costly.

Stella is currently in the hospital, receiving round-the-clock care to stabilize her condition. This includes blood transfusions, medications, and monitoring to help give her a fighting chance. We rescued our amazing girl from a local shelter where she was saved from a dumpster down south. Her life started off rough but we're doing everything we can to make sure it doesn't end like this.

The costs of treatment are overwhelming, and the expenses continue to rise with each day in the hospital. As much as we want to provide everything Stella needs, we simply cannot do it alone. We're approaching our approved limit with the carecredit and we’re lost on what to do next. That’s why we are reaching out to the community for support. Any amount, big or small, will help with the medical bills and give Stella the best possible chance to come home.
