Save Tagalongs Play Place
Tagalongs is a family friendly play place with locations in Lake Hopatcong and Fairfield New Jersey, created and built by a licensed mental health therapist who saw a need that had to be met. Unlike other indoor play places, we have set ourselves apart from the rest. The goal at Tagalongs is to enrich the lives of children with a whimsical learning
environment where your child and family can have fun and learn at the same time. Tagalongs is not only educational, but both
locations have a calming sensory room proven to assist children with spectrum disorders so they can take a break
when needed and go right back to interacting with other children.
Unfortunately, like many other small businesses Tagalongs has been severely impacted by covid-19. Both locations have
been closed indefinitely, sadly only 4 months after our very large Fairfield location opened.
Tagalongs is more than just a play place. For some it is the only place families can go due to our attention to sensory needs.
Tagalongs was built with a purpose.
Tagalongs has not only changed the lives of many children, as the owner it helped my own child, who I was not aware had a sensory processing disorder that I was treating without even knowing it.
Please, if you are able, help us to save this one of a kind play place. We do not want to have to close our doors permanently.
If we are unable to reach our goal, and save Tagalongs, all money raised will be donated to non profit organizations who help
children and families with sensory needs.
Thank you to all who have been so supportive of Tagalongs for nearly 5 years. We hope we will be able to open our doors back up and continue to interact with little friends, old and new.
To some Tagalongs may just appear to be a play place, but to others it is so much more. It is a place where any child can be just that....a child.
