SAVE THE ANNEXE

Since 2017, I’ve been proud to run the Lochwinnoch Annexe, a vital space in our village. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart and soul into maintaining the building, ensuring it remains a safe and welcoming environment for both adults and children. It’s been home to a variety of local groups, offering everything from after-school activities for kids to community events for adults. The Annexe has become a hub of connection and support, a place where everyone, no matter their age, can feel a sense of belonging.

But recently, the repairs have started to pile up. The building needs more than just a little TLC now—there’s a new boiler system needed, along with various other fixes that are beyond my means to handle alone. I’ve always done my best to keep it running, but the time has come where these repairs are essential to avoid the Annexe closing its doors for good. I can't bear the thought of losing this space that’s meant so much to so many.

That’s why I’ve set up this GoFundMe, hoping that with the community’s support, we can raise the funds needed to keep the Annexe open. We’re also exploring a community asset transfer, which would put control of the building in the hands of a group dedicated to its future. It’s a big step, but I truly believe that by working together, we can ensure the Annexe continues to serve our village for many more years to come.
