Did you grow up with that one car your family had throughout your whole childhood, which was passed down from kid to kid? If so, this story is for you. For 13 years my family has had a beautiful white minivan, the Anthony-Mobile. This van has taken my 2 siblings and I to our first days of elementary school, to my sister’s first day of college. I am 17 years old and just got my drivers license a year ago. I’ve been driving the van full of childhood memories since. The van has carried many adventures with my friends and I that no other car can hold. From road trips to McDonalds trips to hockey games, my friends have always utilized my van and the nostalgia it holds. Unfortunately last week, a crack was noticed in my flywheel. With the age and mileage on my van, my father would rather sell it than fix it. But I can’t let go of my childhood yet. I begged my father to keep it and he told me if I raised 1,000 dollars for the van, I can keep it until it takes its final breath. With your help. My childhood can end the right way, my van can end the right way. Please help me and my friends out by donating to this cause. We are thankful and blessed for anything.
