20/07/2021 UPDATE:
The Nesslin Lake Forest Advocates have joined forces with folks from Big River to amplify our repeated requests to the Government of Saskatchewan to remove areas close to homes and tourism businesses from the Prince Albert Forest Management Area.
Please support us - all financial support will go to our planned postcard campaign, our lawsuit, and our protests!
Check out our Facebook page: Big River Forest Advocates for more info on who to send emails and letters to and how to get involved.

The Nesslin Lake Forest is an 11,000 hectare area directly west of the Prince Albert National Park in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is presently licenced to a forestry company from B.C. who have plans to mechanically log a large portion of the area in the next two years (much has already been logged), despite many concerns being raised by the local community and many who travel to that area.
The residents of Big River are also being directly affected - Donald Road residents, Classic View Resort and others are within metres of proposed logging!
We are Indigenous, Metis, and Settlers. We want our children and grandchildren to experience what we have - the beauty and bounty of the boreal forest.
Funds raised will go towards our public awareness campaign and legal action.
