Save the Canoga Park Women's Club

Want to join us in making a difference? We're raising money to save the the Canoga Park Women's Club clubhouse, built in 1929, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our community!

We are now faced with several major maintenance problems that are really adding up, and we need your help. This is an emergency for our club! We are asking for $50,000 to pay for 2 new heating and air conditioning units, drapes for the stage and 2 tall windows, and exterior lighting for our clubhouse and parking lot to increase safety. We graciously appreciate the even smallest donation that will allow us to keep operating in our historic clubhouse!

The Canoga Park Women’s Club has served our community for 109 years. We are involved with our community veterans and host yearly Veterans’ Luncheons. Our clubhouse is used as a meeting place for our club and many community groups such as the local Girl Scout troop. Our members were instrumental in starting Haven Hills Domestic Violence Shelter in 1977, the first shelter in the San Fernando Valley. We give yearly college scholarships to graduating high school students. In 1971, we started the Friends of the Canoga Park Library and helped found the Canoga Park Historical Society in 1988. We donate to local causes and to making our community stronger.
