Save the Date Short Film Fundraiser
Donation protected
Winner of the ACTRA Toronto Queer Your Stories competition and premiering at the InsideOut Festival, Save the Date tells the story of a gay millennial who is forced to confront his complicated feelings about his (sort of) ex when he, quite reluctantly, finds himself invited to celebrate the engagement of the man he, accidentally, possibly, kind of, maybe, pushed out of his life.
Set in the heart of downtown Toronto’s Queer neighbourhood, we focus on the intersection of body image and self worth, of Hallmark endings and the realities of queer relationships, of sexual expectations and life after love (after love after love…)
Using your kind donations, the Save the Date team will be able to rent dream venues, loads of equipment (camera lenses and additional lighting), we can also secure our music rights, and help maintain a safe set by purchasing top of the line masks and rapid test kits!
We can't thank you enough for your help in telling this fun, quirky, queer little story.
