Save the Family Farms is a 501c3 # 84-2589765.  Save the Family Farms is committed to making Napa Valley small family farms & vineyards viable businesses for future generations. Without an immediate change in regulatory administration, small family farms cannot establish economic sustainability, or continue to farmland that has been held generationally. Simply put, small family farms will disappear from Napa Valley. Our goal is creation of new Micro-Winery Ordinance.

We are dedicated to advocating for and maintaining viable economic platforms for small farming operations within Napa Valley. Napa Valley was established by small, family-run farms. Today, that historical landscape is all but disappearing, and small farms are shuttering at an alarming rate (estimated 200 from 2013-1019). Small family farms do not have reasonable access to economic viability. This is because the WDO requires cost-prohibitive development as a condition precedent to the only reasonable avenue of economic activity available to smaller family businesses. Save the Family Farms seeks to enable economic sustainability for small family farms and vineyards so that they can continue to exist as an integral part of Napa’s agricultural landscape diversity and continue generationally.
