We are the Fort Collins Food Coop team and we need your help to save this legendary FoCo institution!

The Fort Collins Food Cooperative at Mountain Avenue Market has been providing expert-selected healthy, sustainable, local groceries and prepared foods to Northern Colorado for 52 years. We are your hometown alternative to the price-gouging monopoly markets. No other grocery store does local produce, bulk soaps, spices, and grains like us and there’s no better burrito deal in town.

-We have never faced a more dire situation than right now-

Last year was an unusually disastrous year with a litany of unexpected storms battering our brave little ship, including multiple refrigerator failures (each with exorbitant repair fees), smashed doors, decreased foot traffic, and management turnover.

Through a lot of hard work, we weathered the storms and have emerged with a caring, dedicated skeleton crew, and a new, knowledgeable, and energized volunteer board of directors.

Our turnover is the lowest in years, our sales are up, our memberships are up, and we are well on our way to profitability... but our ship has taken a beating and our coffers are empty. We need funds immediately or our February bills will sink us and we will be have no other choice other than to close our doors.
