Save the Hampton Bowls and Community Club

Hampton Bowls and Community Club has been an integral part of the Hampton community for over 75 years (est. 1948). It is the largest Bowls club in Bayside and proudly boasts a diverse membership and equal representation of women.

In addition to bowls, the club has a strong community focus including bands on the deck on Sunday afternoon, Toastmasters, and Mah Jong. The club also offers a wonderful function venue for many local celebrations such as birthdays, corporate functions and other celebrations.

Over the past few years the club has been committed to developing a sustainable model without reliance on income from gambling. Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances, the club has recently gone into Voluntary Administration.

The club must raise $150,000 by 23 August or our doors will close forever!

With a new Board in place and support from Bayside City Council, a new club has been launched and, within a week, club members have already contributed over $50,000 in the effort to save this iconic Hampton club.

We need your help to keep this community club open, with no pokies, so all community members can continue to enjoy this wonderful welcoming club.

We believe that our club members can raise another $50,000, and are reaching out to our community for the final $50,000.

The money raised will enable the club to cover operating costs, and contribute towards upgrading the venue and facilities for more extensive community use.

Every dollar counts – so please help us get this over the line.
