Hideaway Arcade Relief Fund

Our business began in January 2018 with a single gumball machine. We quickly began adding more machines and focused on operating arcades and vending machines at clients' locations in northern Arizona such as restaurants and bowling alleys, building and growing our business with great success. In December 2019 we decided we wanted to take our dreams to the next level and open an arcade venue in downtown Prescott Arizona. We secured the funding and began the process of locating an ideal commercial space.  Our mission is to bring much needed entertainment for all ages to our community. Hideaway Arcade is set to offer a mix of classic and modern gaming and create a haven for locals, families, tourists and fun seekers of all ages. With over 60 games so far, including arcades, pinball, air hockey, and prize games. The venue is 4600 square feet and includes a lounge area with a special space dedicated for party rentals. We will also be hosting regular gaming tournaments with prizes and other occasional events. In addition, Hideaway Arcade offers pinball and arcade sales, repairs, service and modifications. Our lease began March 1st, 2020, and we began renovations immediately, planning to open to the public April 1st. We spent all of January through early March investing every penny we could get our hands on in preparation for opening, anticipating to begin with a bang in April. Once open, we are likely to hire 4-6 employees as the need is determined, bringing new jobs to the community. When the COVID-19 emergency struck, our normally stable revenue from the vending route went to almost zero as businesses were shuttered and social distancing was implemented. The Hideaway Arcade opening date has clearly been postponed, to be determined in the coming weeks.  We'd like to emphasize that were it not for the COVID-19 crisis we would not be in need of additional funding and would not have created this campaign. We are humbly seeking capital to help sustain the arcade for the immediate future. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to be used for rent and bills at Hideaway Arcade for the next few months. Any amount you can provide would be monumental and when we open, we will be happy to offer some freeplay as a token of our appreciation to anyone who mentions they supported our campaign. If 2000 people donate $10 or if 1000 people donate $20, we will reach our goal. If we happen to raise more funding than our goal, any overage would go to building improvements and paying employees.
