Save The Jenada Bunnies
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alicia Griggs, and I am doing a fundraiser to rescue and rehome Jenada Bunnies. A couple of years ago a neighbor moved and left her unfixed rabbits in the street to multiply, without food or water to fend for themselves. On April 25, 2023, the City of WIlton Manors decided to hire a trapper to trap and kill the bunnies, without any notification to the neighborhood and did not even list the matter on the commission meeting agenda. Since then, the city has said it will reconsider and hire a rabbit rescue organization to rescue and rehome the bunnies. However, they are dragging their feet, and so far nothing has been done as far as financial assistance from the city. I have taken in some rabbits to foster myself because I can no longer watch them outside in the heat and rain, vulnerable to predators and ailments.
Someone just told me that one of the neighbors allowed her dog to kill one of the bunnies in front of her neighbor's 85-year-old mother, who was horrified. Additionally, there are predators like cats, raccoons, coyotes, hawks, cars, the hot weather, etc. that can kill the bunnies. I am seeking financial assistance to buy carriers, pens, litter boxes, water bowls, hay, feed, etc., veterinary expenses to have them spayed or neutered, and treat them for anything like fleas, mites, or parasites. All of the money received will go to the rescue, maintenance, care, and medical expenses for Jenada bunnies. Please consider helping rescue and rehome the bunnies. Any amount would be helpful.
Thank you for your consideration!
