The Kalona Bakery has long been a trademark business in Kalona, Iowa. In the summer of 2016, the bakery suffered a total loss at the hands of a fire for which a cause has yet to be determined.
In an effort to revive sales and save the bakery, local owners Jon and Stephanie Troyer have "gone mobile" cutomizing a food truck to suit thier needs and bring some delicious favorites back to the community.
Unfortunately, the modified business plan for the Kalona Bakery is off to a less than ideal start. Jon, Stephanie, and the Kalona community need your help to keep the business afloat. Insurance settlements have yet to be reached, but in the meantime, the business is in peril. Jon and Stephanie need $3000 by Feburary 10th to pay their vendors and expenses and keep the business alive.
