Save the life and future of AbeerAljanah from Gaza

Donation protected
Hello, My name is Adel, and I am AbeerAljanah father. We live in Gaza City and are conducting a donation campaign to leave Gaza due to the war.

AbeerAljanah, a beautiful child with blonde hair and blue eyes, not yet a year old, lives her childhood with her family in a small, lovely home filled with love, warmth, and tenderness.

She has always brought joy and happiness to her parents and family, constantly smiling despite her young age, yet her presence brings reassurance, and you find hope in her eyes and her bright future.

When she was small and unable to walk, her parents felt immense happiness when AbeerAljanah could take a step with her own help. They eagerly awaited her delicate and innocent movements and actions.

Her grandmother couldn't bear to leave her for a moment due to her deep attachment. Everyone was amazed by her grandparents' love for her, and the family would gather to watch her every move.

She continues to captivate hearts and attention, but unfortunately, all of this was incomplete.

Here are pictures of AbeerAljanah and her small home.

The war has begun, and feelings of fear and anxiety have taken hold of our hearts. There is no longer any peace or tranquility. Everyone, including AbeerAljanah, wakes up and sleeps to the sound of bombings. It was the first time AbeerAljanah heard the sound of planes and explosions, with destruction everywhere. The bombings were random, and we didn't know what to do. We looked at AbeerAljanah crying out of fear, feeling helpless.

The entire neighborhood was completely destroyed in a random airstrike. Every time we heard the planes, we feared that one of those missiles could be heading towards our home. The area was hit with internationally banned white phosphorus bombs. It was a tough day, and the night was even harder. In the early morning, we managed to leave the house and head to our family's home in another area. Upon arrival, we received the news that our house had been destroyed.

We no longer have a shelter; we no longer have that beautiful small home. It is gone, along with those days and beautiful memories. We look at each other in disbelief, unable to speak after we had been thinking and planning for AbeerAljanah future. Our only concern now is to preserve AbeerAljanah life and the family's life.

Here are some pictures of the destruction of the house.

We were contacted by the Israeli army and the area residents, and they said we must evacuate the area and go to the southern part of the Gaza Strip. We were forced to flee hastily. Unfortunately, as soon as we left the house, the adjacent house was targeted, so we left all our belongings and moved to the southern areas.

We fled to Khan Yunis, and we stayed in a residential apartment belonging to a friend. The apartment was under construction and had nothing in it, but since there was nowhere else to go, we had to stay there. We tried to feel safe and keep AbeerAljanah occupied with toys and dolls to distract her from the sounds of explosions. She was afraid, but being so young, she didn't understand what was happening.

We spent a few safe days until sudden explosions shook the area completely, targeting some houses adjacent to ours. Due to the heavy dust, we couldn't see anything. AbeerAljanah was sitting under a window, and when the glass shattered above her, we could barely see her. Due to her fear, she suddenly ran towards the room's door on her own. It was the first time she could run on her own. We hoped she would run feeling safe, and we would see her laughter brightening up the place. However, she ran while crying hysterically, not knowing where to go. Thankfully, with God's help, AbeerAljanah was unharmed, but some family members were injured.

We had to leave and move to the western areas of Khan Yunis, and here begins another story of fear, hunger, and cold.

The tough decision came when we decided to split into two groups, each in a different area, to preserve our family memories. This way, if one of us got killed, some beautiful memories would remain.

We took AbeerAljanah and decided to set up a tent on one of the roads, a small tent made of nylon and some fabric by the roadside. It didn't protect us from anything — not the bombing, the cold, or the winter rain. Sometimes we woke up soaked in rainwater. We had no clean water, food, or electricity.

We had to live with these conditions, but we never lost hope. AbeerAljanah grew up a lot during the war; she crawled, walked, and talked during the war. She lived three stages of her life in the tents, making her one and a half years old now.

Here are some pictures of AbeerAljanah and our tent, which has become our only shelter.

The bombardment didn't cease, and the Israeli aggression didn't end; they invaded the eastern part of Khan Yunis city. Everything was destroyed, with explosions echoing morning, afternoon, and night. We were surprised to see that AbeerAljanah learned that the sound of aircraft meant an explosion. Whenever she heard the aircraft sound, she mimicked the explosion sound and hid due to extreme fear, sometimes in her mother's embrace and sometimes in her father's.

One night was somewhat quiet, but unfortunately, it was a false sense of calm. We were surprised in the morning by the arrival of occupation vehicles, completely surrounding the area. The bombing started intensely, and the sounds of gunfire didn't cease. Bullets pierced the tent; we were lying on the ground unable to move at all. We stayed in this state for two days, unable to lift our heads. Then the army asked us to leave the tents without taking any of our belongings. For the first time, AbeerAljanah saw tanks; she was very scared. Out of fear, when the occupation asked us to raise our hands, she looked at us and raised her hands like us and didn't put them down even after we left and distanced ourselves from there. We felt extreme sadness.

What is the fault that AbeerAljanah committed to experience all of this? We headed to Rafah city. There is no place to shelter us, and we don't know anything about the rest of the family until we managed to contact and reassure each other. We stood puzzled, not knowing where to go. We have nothing left; we can't buy necessities or set up another tent or even have food to eat. We turned to some people for help to set up another tent for shelter.

Our suffering continues inside the tents; the sounds of explosions haven't ceased. We are exhausted, violated.

We suffer in everything; even if we wanted to warm ourselves, it's difficult. There is no future for anything; everything has ended for us in Gaza, even after the war ends. There is no home, no source of livelihood, no future. We want to leave Gaza City and go anywhere. We want to live a decent life; we want to build a bright future for AbeerAljanah. The nearest country to us is Egypt, but we can't go there. The cost of going to Egypt per person ranges from $7000 to $10000, and the family is large.

We need your help to travel and leave Gaza City to search for a bright future for AbeerAljanah, to find a source of livelihood, and to find a new home for us and the family members.

We hope that you will help AbeerAljanah and her family by donating even a small amount because it will make a difference. Your help alone will protect AbeerAljanah and her family.

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your donations and for reading our story.

We hope that AbeerAljanah and her family will live a beautiful and normal life like anyone else.

Note: We want to clarify that we chose Belgium because Palestine is not listed among the countries, and we've got friends helping us collect donations.

Thank you all❤️
