Save the life of my sister's dog, Rocky, with Cancer Surgery

Hi, my name is Gabrielle, and I’m fundraising to help my sister, Angel-Lynn, save her dog, Rocky.

Angel-Lynn adopted Rocky as a puppy in 2016, and since then, they’ve been inseparable. He’s not just her pet—he’s her best friend, her source of comfort, and her family. Unfortunately, during a routine check-up this February, Rocky’s vet discovered suspicious lumps on his neck. A biopsy confirmed the worst: Rocky, only 8 years old, has cancer.

A veterinary specialist at Huron East Animal Hospital conducted further tests and diagnosed Rocky with two malignant thyroid tumours. His best chance at survival is timely and multimodal treatment, including surgery to remove the tumours and possibly radiation afterward. With these treatments, Rocky may happily live another 3 years cancer-free and in good health. However, the estimated cost of his treatment is between $7,000 and $9,000 CAD—a financial burden that my sister simply cannot bear alone.

Angel-Lynn is the kind of person who always puts others first. Despite the hardships she’s faced, she remains selflessly generous, never asking for help—even when she needs it most. That’s why I’m asking on her behalf.
