### Abdul Rahman Mushtaha: From Digital Marketing Aspirations to Selling Ice Cream to Facing Occupation

My name is Abdul Rahman Mushtaha, I am 21 years old, and I am from Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. My dreams and ambitions were high as a digital marketing student, but difficult circumstances forced me to work as an ice cream vendor due to the lack of job opportunities. My life took a drastic turn when I found myself imprisoned by the Israeli occupation forces.

During my detention, which lasted for more than 25 days, I was subjected to the most horrific forms of torture and humiliation by soldiers, some of whom were not older than twenty years. All of this happened because of my Palestinian nationality.

I lived 100 days in northern Gaza without seeing my mother's face, kissing my father's hand, or playing with my two-year-old nephew. 100 days without hugging my sister Hiba, who is starving in northern Gaza due to the siege imposed by the occupation forces on their home for more than 50 days. Now, I am Abdul Rahman, without a university, without a job at the ice cream shop, and without a home.
