Donate to save the lives of homeless cats.

Hi my name is Carol and I'm the director of Homeward Bound Animal Haven. I have always loved animals and dreamed of opening an animal shelter, so that's what I did after retiring from teaching. Personally, I currently have three dogs, numerous cats, and two horses. With the help of my family and friends, we converted an out-building on our property to an indoor / outdoor cat home. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for animals who are waiting for their furever home with a loving family. Since we are a new startup and currently have limited facilities and resources, we are only sheltering and adopting out cats at this time. As we gain experience in animal rescue / adoption and expand our operations, we hope to include all animals. We are a nonprofit organization and have applied for designation as a Federal 501(c)(3) tax deductible, charitable organization. One hundred percent of our adoption fees and donations go towards veterinary visits, spaying/neutering, initial vaccinations, and feeding the animals we take in. All our staff and volunteers are non-paid and support Homeward Bound Animal Haven because of their love for animals.
