Save the Meadery Again!

Hello my name is Bill Harris. Eleven years ago I was delivering a pizza on a bicycle in Chicago and my father called me to tell me he was opening a meadery. I wanted in from that very second. I moved my family to Davenport to help him. We started in our basement in East Moline and eventually got in with some developers and opened our current location in downtown Davenport. We have been through two floods, a pandemic and a failed hostile takeover to become a European themed sports bar in 2022. We raised and borrowed massive amounts of money to make that not happen. Since then we have had a bank call in loans which has caused serious financial stress on our operation. A flood in the summer, inflation and brutal January have put us in this position. We do not do this for the money we do it for our passion of mead, respect for bees and love of our community. Many people tell me how much they love the meadery. If you are one of those people we need your help. I know times are tough for people if you can not give anything do not, if you can give anything will be extremely useful in our fight.
The money will go to
1. Catching up on all expenses that immediately threaten our operation
2. Paying Beekeepers(by supporting us you are supporting local beekeepers)
3. All other expenses that are quickly rising. Most importantly to climb out of debt and get rid of the leverage that the man has over us!
What I can promise you if you support us.
WE WILL NEVER EVER GIVE UP OR SELL OUT!
Thank you to everyone that has supported us over the years we freaking love you all.
