Keep Supporting The Mind Cafe!

Guy, Ana and the team at The Mind Cafe do amazing things for the community and if this cafe closes, staff and the locals will not have this hub to go to for delicious food, coffee and a space to share their mental health struggles and achievements.

In 2024, we raised approximately $55,000 which cleared most of the outstanding bills and put The Mind Cafe in good stead for the year ahead.

Unfortunately, in 2025, business has slowed with the cost-of-living crisis as well as coming into the colder months. We have an increasingly growing shortfall.

As Guy Morel shared on The Mind Cafe Community Facebook page on 4th April 2025, supporting the vulnerable and those living with disabilities is his life’s purpose and The Mind Cafe holds a unique place in his and many of our hearts.

Therefore, we have relaunched the GoFundMe page in the hope that donations will help us through the upcoming months until we can become a charity.

To avoid confusion, please note the $55,000 raised is still showing but it was spent 12 months ago to keep the cafe afloat until recently. Any further donations will certainly help however we do still have a hard road ahead of us.
