Save the Nassau Orphanage

Donation protected
When one thinks of the Bahamas, they most likely think of paradise, beaches, and expensive vacations. In Nassau, there is a special area hidden from many called the Elizabeth Estates Children's Home. Established in 1992, the home works to nurture and teach children growing up without parents. I had the privilege of visiting the orphanage with a small mission group in March 2016. Bringing crafts and suitcases full of supplies, we were able to reach out to the children and eat an authentic Bahamian lunch afterwards.

The Elizabeth Estates Children's Home is now in trouble. In October 2016, Hurricane Matthew hit the hardest in Haiti and the Bahamas. According to Florence Pratt, the home's director, the orphanage was left "devastated." The roofs were destroyed, along with the classrooms, computer equipment, housing, and more. They desperately need our help. Donate to save the orphanage and the children.
