Save the Oakdale Grange Square Dance Hall

Hi, my name is Ray, and I am raising funds to save Oakdale Grange #435. For many years, the Grange hall has been available to dance groups to hold dances at a very reasonable rate, and we always have self-supporting. However, due to the recent pandemic, we have had no income. Yet monthly expenses continued. We have a beautiful dance hall, as seen in the photo. We can rent the hall again, but we have hit two significant hurdles. The first is a $3200 insurance bill that we have to pay to be able to rent the hall. That is a considerable increase compared to pre-pandemic; we have shopped extensively. Second, we have found a significant problem with the plumbing in the kitchen, requiring the need to hire a plumbing company to make the repairs. Usually, we do most repairs ourselves. Due to two + years of no income, we cannot meet these expenses and request tour help. The primary rentals are for Square and Round dances.. If we can not raise sufficient funds to meet these expenses, we will lose our charter from the California State Grange, and with that, we will lose the building
