We are doing this fundraiser to support Ocean Cleanup, which will restore ocean health to help future generations. The Ocean Cleanup is developing and scaling technologies to rid the oceans of plastic. We aim to remove 90% by 2040.
We can clean the ocean by:
Stopping plastic pollution at the source.
Carrying out beach cleanups.
Avoiding agricultural runoff entering the oceans.
Creating business incentives to eliminate plastic use.
Developing and improving waste management laws.
Investing in plastic pollution innovations.
