Help Save the Pet Sanctuary
Donation protected
This storm has devastated my family. Joanne and Mike have dedicated their lives to saving animals! There property is a sanctuary to the animals people have forgotten about. Over the past 48hours the sanctuary has been hit hard. Flooding waters have taken over the barns, yard and house that they call home.
Sadly the barn has 3.5-4ft of water, food has been lost, sawdust, hay and everything that's in a barn.
Thankfully they were able to get all horses, goats, sheeps (all large farm animals), smaller animals have been caged and brought to a neighbors house.
Sadly a few animals have been lost......We are reaching out to our community and pet lovers everywhere. Donations of any kind would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to e transfer your donation you can send it to Michelle Douglas at Michelle_douglas 86 at hot mail dot com
UPDATE: The water has gone down a bit. Some wonderful strangers came all the way from English Bay to help. Managed to get into the house. It's a devastating disaster. Cats that didn't make it all throughout the house. Managed to save 15-20 cats and a few birds. This is going to be a long road but with all the love and support we will come out of this. Joanne and Mike are overwhelmed with all the kind donations from you all and send their thanks.
