The Potrero View , which turns 50 in August - if it makes it that long - is San Francisco’s longest-running community newspaper, serving the Potrero Hill, Dogpatch, Mission Bay and South-of-Market neighborhoods with free monthly editions. As the public health emergency took hold in March many of the paper's stalwart advertisers -- restaurants and retailers -- closed, and ceased advertising. Without additional support from subscribers and donors, The Potrero View may need to fold.
The Potrero View offers a magical mix of news, reviews, event notices, historical and personality profiles, as well as classified merchant ads, helping to connect the City's eastern neighborhoods. Let’s keep this valuable resource serving the community.
The Potrero View is fiscally sponsored by San Francisco Community Power, a 501c3 organization. All contributions of $250 or more are eligible for tax deduction to the extent allowed by law.
