The Red Lion has a rich history of hosting many and diverse events from Live Bands to Kids Parties, from Folk and Open Mic nights to Punk aerobics, Silent Movie nights, Charity Fundraisers, Veg/Vegan Pizzas, Local Ales and Ciders and much, much more.
During lockdown it has been a hub for Veg Box delivery with volunteers sorting boxes and taking them out door to door in the community for donations/free in association with The Plough and Base and Roses.
Due to Covid 19 and the ensuing lockdown we have had most of the outgoings but none of the incomings so we are now finding it hard to pay the bills. Money is also needed to make adjustments so that we may open with safety in mind for both our customers and our staff.
Any contribution towards keeping our pub open would be greatly appreciated and every penny will be put to good use to ensure this family friendly venue to continue to open it's doors to the community.
