Save the Saskatoon Mothers Centre
Donation protected
Mothers and children need your support. The Saskatoon Mothers Centre has been operating on a volunteer basis out of Station 20 West for years and had cut back after cut back from the few sources covering their many projects. They offer breastfeeding support, peer mentoring, parenting support, sewing circles, and many other resources.
All funds will go towards KEEPING THE DOORS OPEN - we will receive our charitable status in the next few months and just need to pay the rent and overhead until that happens and we are eligible for charitable support and can give receipts.
You are helping mothers and children continue to get the support they need -- and we will all be so grateful for anything you can spare.
We would like to acknowledge the support of the wider community, and the Saskatoon Health Region in particular, without whom we would not exist.
Thank you for helping us grow our dreams of self-sufficiency.
* To GOFUNDME: Most of the donors seem to either know me directly or indirectly, but I am a community member who has been volunteering at fundraising for the SMC for the past year, since the 2017 AGM. Marjorie Beaucage, current chair of the SMC Board, approved this campaign. I am in contact with her, the SMC board, and financial volunteers of the SMC and we would like the money to be directly deposited or etransferred to the SMC account. Please let me know how to do so as we would like to pay SMC monthly overheads ASAP.
