THE SCREENING ROOM NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Since the pandemic started, we have been able to keep up on some of our bills from our emergency fund, very small rentals, and a few online screenings. That money has not been enough and now our bills are piling up. Unless we get help, The Screening Room won’t survive. The amount we are asking for will pay essential bills, so we don't have to close down.
The Screening Room has been part of this community for over 30 years and is the home to the Arizona International Film Festival (Arizona’s longest running film festival), Arizona Underground Film Festival, Tucson Film and Music Festival, Tucson Terrorfest, Apex Film Festival and many more film festivals in our community. It has been home to countless local film premieres, arthouse independent films, and a hub for local filmmakers to show their work on the big screen. It is also home to the popular Keep Tucson Sketchy, comedy shows, fundraisers, birthdays, and even weddings. The Screening Room has worked to provide a space and a theater for the entire community, and now The Screening Room needs your help.
