Save the Square Mug Cafe!
Nearly one year ago, on Oct 1, 2019, Donna and Ernest opened more than a coffee shop. They created Square Mug Cafe. Square Mug has been a haven for coffee lovers seeking a creative cozy spot, but also a tremendous community partner. They are the originators of Granny Elliott's Share Pantry; they have provided snacks & water to social justice protesters. From hosting local artisans for Shop Small Business Saturday to keeping boxes of dry goods on site for the homeless, the Elliot family has served the Tallahassee community far more than coffee. They've been serving up love.
Now, they need OUR love!! Due to the impact of the coronavirus on their business, Square Mug had to close its doors. But with our help, they are going to reopen this month!! What better way to celebrate their one year anniversary than to make sure it happens.
Here is what is needed right away:
$1000 Sept rent
$1000 Oct rent
$500 to turn on WiFi
$500 for loan payment
$400 for food supplies
$100 in the till to make change
We need to hit this goal right away, so they can be open and celebrating by October 1st!!
Let's join together to be the heroes for Square Mug that Donna and Ernest have been for our community for so long <3
