Save the St. Regis

I'm setting up this gofundme on behalf of one of my oldest friends, Billy Yang. His family has run the St. Regis wine and liquor on 3rd Street and Orlando in Los Angeles since 1984. This store is his father's legacy after having been killed while manning the counter in 2004. 

Last night the store was broken into and there was extensive theft of and damage to merchandise as well as to the structure itself. At one point in the night the building was on fire. 

The Yangs have had more than their share of tragedy. If you know Billy through his running related content, you know that his focus has always been on shining a light on what others are doing to make a positive impact on the world. 

I'm so hoping the positivity he's put out and helped amplify comes back to him and his family in their time of need. 

This fund is being set up to cover the costs of repairs, lost merchandise, and to provide a financial cushion for the employees until the store gets back up and running.
