Save the Warrandyte Community Pottery Studio
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Annie and I am fundraising on behalf of the Warrandyte Arts Association and the Pottery group to raise urgent funds needed to restore the damage caused by termites to the wooden pottery studio over the years. The pottery studio was once a fire station built in the early 1900's to protect the community and was later converted into a pottery studio in 1980 to provide the locals with a place to create ceramic art and socialise. Unfortunately, wear and tear and termites have left the wooden building in a state of disrepair. Therefore, funding is urgently needed to restore the studio and prevent the loss of this unique and historic building to our town’s streetscape. This Community Pottery studio is unique and is the only one of its kind in Victoria that provides access to the facilities for anybody to learn or develop their pottery skills further. It would be a shame to lose such a valuable facility to the community and we are asking for your support in preserving the Pottery Studio for future genertions to enjoy.
