Save this abused puppy

I’ve never seen anything like this poor boy in person, but I’ve been sick to my stomach ever since I met him. He is what dog fighters call a “bait dog”. Just a chew toy for their fighting dogs to practice on that they eventually discard like trash when they’re too damaged. Idk about y’all, but when I see a puppy like this, I see also a child being abused and I’m just as upset and angry. Tomorrow I’m taking this brave boy to the vet with my wonderful friend Ryan who found him(off Fred George rd and mission) and rescued him, hopefully we can afford the medical costs to get him healthy and ready for a real home..because omg this baby deserves it and wants a family so bad. His eyes are swollen shut but still the high pitched sound of my voice drew him to me and he craved the touch and love. He is a sweetheart and can’t be more than 6months old and he could have a whole life of happiness ahead of him, I want nothing more than that after the hell hes endured for the first months of his life...

If anyone has any helpful advice or suggestions we are all ears. I’m not wealthy by any means but we need to save this baby boy he deserves the best treatment ever. Food, shelter, and a good bath are clearly not enough for him. We need help! Please help him ♥️
