Help Cat’s Amazing save Tulipan the kitten!

This little guy is Tulipan, he’s just a baby at around 13 weeks old. Yesterday afternoon I received a call from his owner who was referred from the Elizabeth Shelter where she had taken him desperate for help. Tulipan hasn’t eaten in days, was lethargic and seemed quite sick….while we absolutely have no funds currently available for emergencies we could not turn this woman and more importantly this sweet angel who was suffering away. His owner reluctantly agreed to surrender him so we could take over his care…what we were hoping would turn out to be a routine virus is unfortunately proving to be something more sinister and Tulipan is in medical crisis with kidney values extremely concerning for a kitten of his age. We are working with the vets at Blue Pearl in Levittown where he currently is being treated…the decision was made to try to give him a chance at life and while the current estimate is between 3800-5000 it could go higher. We will not let this guy suffer if there is no chance for him but we believe in miracles…so we will continue to support additional medical intervention to determine the cause and see if he can be saved.
